Dust Collection Bag Filters

Dust Collection Bag Filters are designed to capture dust, fine particles and other airborne contaminants generated during industrial production and material handling processes. They are widely used in industrial dust collection systems to help control dust emissions, protect equipment and maintain cleaner working environments in applications such as cement, concrete, mining, metalworking, woodworking, food processing and chemical industries.

Bag filters operate by passing contaminated air through a filter media that retains dust particles on its surface. As dust accumulates, the filter can be cleaned using mechanical shaking, reverse air or pulse-jet cleaning systems, depending on the design of the dust collector. Proper cleaning helps maintain airflow and filtration efficiency while extending filter service life.

Mers Global offers two main types of dust collector bag filters: Bag Filters and Pleated Bag Filters. Standard Bag Filters are available in different lengths, diameters, materials and configurations according to the dust collector and application requirements. They can be manufactured using various filter media selected according to dust characteristics, temperature, humidity and required filtration efficiency.

Pleated Bag Filters provide a larger filtration surface within a compact design. Their pleated structure can offer higher air-to-cloth ratios and may help reduce the required filter area in suitable dust collection systems. They are particularly useful where space limitations or high filtration capacity are important considerations.

Selecting the correct bag filter requires consideration of filter dimensions, media type, operating temperature, airflow, dust characteristics and cleaning method. Mers Global provides replacement and application-specific Dust Collection Bag Filters according to equipment specifications, existing filter dimensions and technical requirements.
