HVAC Filters

HVAC Filters are designed to remove airborne dust, pollen, fibers and other contaminants from heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. They help improve indoor air quality while protecting HVAC equipment, ventilation components and air handling units from particle accumulation.

HVAC filtration systems can be configured with different filtration stages according to the required air quality and application. Coarse filters are generally used as the first filtration stage to capture larger particles such as industrial dust, sand, ash, pollen and insects. Common configurations include cassette, panel, metal, polyurethane and roll filters.

Fine dust filters provide a higher level of particle removal and are used where smaller airborne contaminants need to be controlled. They can capture particles such as mold spores, fine dust, pollen and other respirable contaminants. Bag, V-compact, panel, rigid and cylindrical filter configurations can be selected according to the system design and required airflow.

For applications requiring very high filtration efficiency, absolute filtration systems can be used as an advanced filtration stage. These filters are commonly required in controlled environments and specialized industrial processes where strict air quality requirements apply. EPA, HEPA and ULPA filters are examples of high-efficiency filtration products.

The appropriate HVAC filter should be selected according to airflow, filter dimensions, filtration efficiency, pressure drop, installation configuration and operating conditions. Regular inspection and timely replacement are also important for maintaining system performance and energy efficiency.

Mers Global provides HVAC filter solutions for commercial, industrial and ventilation applications, with different filter configurations and filtration levels available according to system requirements.
